Open Source BI : Pentaho Rules!

Dear Pentaho friends,

I just wanted to share some good news with you regarding a new study that got published today.

Mark Madsen, an independent business intelligence analyst, together with the BeyeNETWORK took an in depth look at what is going in companies with respect to open source BI.**

You can find the complete report over at the BeyeNETWORK, but here is the graph that particularly interested me:

My congratulations to the Pentaho community for pulling this off.

Until next time,
Matt

  1. Very good question Debby. The report (free download) says that it refers to the “Level of Usage”. Since the total s over 100%, I guess it simply means the % of companies using the tool.

  2. hello mett,
    1,have two slave in a computer;
    2,have one slave in a computer,and also two copies of an step in the slave;
    3,have one slave in a computer,and alse two patitiones of an step in the slave;
    What is the difference in performance?
    also,what role “copy” played? what role “patition” played?
